The one constant in this world is change. You can either adapt to it, ignore it, or lead it.

LEAD THE CHANGE is both our mission and our call to action. It speaks to our entrepreneurial spirit and our roots as an agency. It defines the way we think about brands, ideas and relationships, and it's alive
in our work.

Publicis Kaplan Thaler was founded with the express purpose of leading change for our clients.

Change that helps them to redefine the landscape and forge ahead of the competition.

Change that lets them become part of the public consciousness, and create a movement of passionate advocates.

We hope you will have a chance to view some of our work to see how we are leading change
for our clients.

Linda Kaplan Thaler

Chairman

BIO

What I do:

I help set the vision and philosophy of the agency.

What I've done:

I've done stand-up comedy, hosted two reality TV shows, acted off-Broadway, taught music theory at CCNY, co-wrote three best-selling books, helped to create those teary-eyed Kodak moments and wrote the Toys ‘R’ Us jingle—which has been running so long those kids are now grandparents— and composed music for television and theater. My favorite hobby is sleeping.

How I lead the change:

I learned a valuable lesson early on in life: lose the fear. When you trust your gut (it has an I.Q. that’s off the charts), and aren’t afraid to take risks, you have an amazing sense of freedom and empowerment. It’s what helped me back in 1997 when I founded the Kaplan Thaler Group, and what drives me today as Chairman of Publicis Kaplan Thaler. Lose the fear, especially of change, and see how much you’ll gain.
Rob Feakins

Chief Creative Officer / President

BIO

What I do:

I oversee all creative at Publicis Kaplan Thaler. But that's just part of my role. As CCO, I really want to help shape the point of view and voice of a brand -- and then create advocates for that brand.

What I've done:

Prior to becoming CCO/President of PKT, I held the same title at Publicis NY. I spent the formative years of my career at places like Chiat/Day in Los Angeles and Ammiratti &Puris. Because of those experiences, I try to hold my self and the work of our agency to a very high standard. In my career, I’ve won every major award, including: Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, ADC Cubes, Andy Heads and the like. I have served on the Board of the Art Directors Club, I serve as a Chair of the AdCouncil Creative Review Committee and was recently appointed by Facebook to their Global Creative Council.

How I lead the change:

Brands today are looking for big integrated ideas, not ad campaigns. At Publicis Kaplan Thaler, we've built a highly-integrated creative department with over half now having worked at digital agencies. We've also added new roles, like user experience and creative technologists to the creative department to strengthen and broaden our creative capabilities. Finally, we continue to push our creative abilities and standards. As a result, the work we've done for our clients has garnered over 400 awards since I joined the agency.
Andrew Bruce

Chief Executive Officer

BIO

What I do:

Andrew is the President and CEO of Publicis Worldwide’s newly created North America region. Andrew is also the CEO of Publicis Kaplan Thaler and is responsible for agency management of client services, strategic planning, operations and new business.

What I've done:

In 1999, Andrew joined Publicis Worldwide’s Toronto office with a mandate to reshape and reinvigorate a floundering operation. Andrew oversaw and fueled ten consecutive years of growth. Rising to President and CEO, Andrew took an agency struggling to attract top talent and business to one of Canada’s most respected agencies, entrusted with a client roster featuring iconic brands such as Rogers, WestJet, Purolator, Labatt and Chrysler. Under his leadership, Andrew instilled an entrepreneurial culture that made Publicis Canada the best place to work in the entire Publicis Worldwide network, as evidenced by the internal global satisfaction survey.

How I lead the change:

Andrew has an innate passion for this industry. He is deeply involved with the Institute of Communications Agencies as the Chairman of the Board and chairs the association’s largest annual event, the FFWD Advertising and Marketing Week.
Carla Serrano

Chief Strategy Officer

BIO

What I do:

Carla is the Chief Strategy Officer at Publicis Kaplan Thaler and oversees the multi-disciplinary units of brand, digital, social strategy, engagement planning, and data analytics.

What I've done:

Carla started her advertising career at Chiat/Day Toronto at a time when account planning was an emerging discipline in North America. She had the good fortune to cut her teeth on iconic brands like Apple and Nissan and never looked back. Throughout her career, Carla has worked in strategically-led creative networks for global brands like Coca-Cola, Samsung, Absolut and Kraft. She has held many leadership roles that meld strategic leadership with business management from President of Berlin Cameron United, CSO of TBWA Chiat/Day, to CEO of Naked Communications.

How I lead the change:

Passionate about integrated and seamless strategic innovation, she is committed to helping clients and brands thrive in this ever-changing marketing landscape.
Julie Levin

Chief Marketing Officer

BIO

What I do:

Julie Levin is Chief Marketing Officer, North America of Publicis Worldwide. In her role, she oversees all Publicis North America marketing and business development, including Canada, Hawkeye and AR New York. This post is a return to NYC after serving as Chief Growth Officer for The Martin Agency in Richmond, VA. Prior to that she graced the boardrooms of BBH, mcgarrybowen, BBDO, Deutsch and Grey.

What I've done:

Before focusing her attention on business development, Julie was in account management with diverse category experience. Clients appreciate her ability to navigate complex organizations with intelligence and humor, and great skills in conscensus building. At the same time, creative organizations gravitate to her passion for creativity and pushing boundaries.

How I lead the change:

At Publicis she will be employing all of this experience with both new and existing clients. Ensuring the growth of the agency through the growth of our client partner’s businesses. Julie is a member of the 4As New Business Committee and a graduate of the University of Richmond.
Tricia Kenney

Chief Communications Officer

BIO

What I do:

I help make our clients and Publicis Kaplan Thaler famous. And not just for 15 minutes either. Through creative, innovative and integrated communications programs, my team and I get people talking about our clients’ products and services by securing millions of dollars worth of free media coverage and making them part of the pop-culture, social media landscape.

What I've done:

I started my career working part-time at N.W. Ayer as a 17 year-old high school student who needed (okay, wanted) a little black dress from Bloomingdales. After earning two college degrees and many black tie events later (that dress really did come in handy), I became President of Ayer Public Relations working with blue-chip clients on a global basis, and later served as Executive Vice President, Director of Corporate and Public Affairs for the MacManus Group (Ayer’s holding company). Prior to Publicis Kaplan Thaler, I led the Kaplan Thaler Group’s Corporate Communications as Managing Director.

How I lead the change:

I've always loved the saying, "There are three things in this world that cannot hide - the sun, the moon, and the truth." In a world of instant communications, being transparent and authentic has never been more important - and navigating through these constant changes has never been more challenging or exciting. Helping our clients connect with consumers in real and relevant ways that immediately impacts their brands and bottom-line is how Publicis Kaplan Thaler is leading the change.
Patty Enright

Chief Talent Officer

BIO

What I do:

As the Chief Talent Officer for Publicis Kaplan Thaler, it’s my job to ensure we attract and retain top talent. Simply put, I help people develop fabulous careers and love what they do.

What I've done:

I’ve spent most of my career in Human Resources in the advertising world. In addition to Publicis USA, I’ve led departments at D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles (where I sat also on the Worldwide Board of Directors), and Ogilvy & Mather. Before joining the industry, I served as Director of Staff Employment at Lord & Taylor.

How I lead the change:

At Publicis Kaplan Thaler, I’m helping to build a unique and strong culture – one that’s committed to collaboration and learning. We’re fostering a community where we constantly educate and inspire each other. And, at home, I am currently leading my daughter through the college application process as a proud parent.
Lisa Bifulco

Chief Production Officer

BIO

What I do:

A wise woman once said, “out of chaos comes collaboration.” And my job as Chief Production Officer is to empower a large, diverse and creative team, helping them to hone and harness their collective craftsmanship. The net result is that we as a team deliver work of the highest quality.

What I've done:

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in every area of the industry, including websites, product placement, mobile apps, music videos and film. Along the way, I’ve run my own company, as well as grown agency departments from 1 to 100.

How I lead the change:

We live in a multi-screen environment. Whether it’s labeled as “broadcast” or “integrated production,” my team and I tailor every project to how and where it will be viewed, ensuring our clients look their best on every screen.
